Title:	Cody and Laura's Proposal Story
Description:	Cody and I started dating June 8, 2013. Exactly one year later on June 8, 2014 my family had planned family photos at our farm in Meta, Missouri, including my Grandma's. I had mentioned to Cody a few weeks before that I would like to get a few pictures of the two of us since it was our one year anniversary. He agreed and we had made a plan for his parents, sister and niece to also come to the farm that same day to bbq, swim and our families to get to know eachother. As we are finishing up family photos, Cody and his family arrive. Not thinking anything was going on Cody and I took a few pictures together with both our families watching, which was a little awkward! Our photographer told us to turn and walk holding hands down towards the lake. We started to walk and Cody stopped, as I turned around he was down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?" and I immediately said "yes" and gave him the biggest hug. Little did I know "family photos" was a cover and both our families had been planning this day since February 2014, pulling the whole day off without me knowing the real reason we were all getting together. It was the best surprise ever! I couldn't have asked for anything more than having our family and my Grandma's there to share the day with! Cody picked out the ring himself without me knowing he was even looking at rings. It is absolutely perfect and I'm in love with it! After spending time with our families that day, we headed back to town to tell our extended family and friends our exciting news of our engagement! We are getting married August 2015!
